Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God

This is an incredibly infuriating day for Idaho and for America. We are now faced with a level of tyranny unrivaled by anything these lands have faced since King George III sent his forces to disarm and subjugate the American Colonists.

It is easy to throw out comparisons, but what we are dealing with now is truly unrivaled in America’s history under the Constitution. We must look to Hitler’s Germany, Stalin’s USSR, and Mao’s China to see comparable examples of historical tyranny.

We are effectively living in an occupied country, overrun by a deranged federal government controlled from the shadows while a lunatic puppet is paraded around as its titular head. Nothing will ever be the same. Twenty years after 9/11, a vicious foe more wicked than any single terrorist has launched an even deadlier attack against our population.

Make no mistake; our Liberty is under a sustained and brutal assault. This has been said many times before, but it is impossible to overstate the degree of danger our most sacred rights are in today. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness have never been closer to total eradication.

Tonight, in the darkest hour of our republic, the immortal words of Thomas Jefferson ring especially true, “Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God.”
